Cherloi is an Italian-inspired luxury brand founded by artisan Azzura, blending timeless elegance with modern design. Cherloi specializes in creating high-quality leather goods for contemporary travelers, offering personalized products that emphasize artistry, durability, and sustainability. The brand’s mission is to deliver functionality and style, reflecting the craftsmanship of Italian artisans while remaining eco-conscious.

 

Challenge

Cherloi sought a digital presence that reflected its brand ethos while enhancing customer engagement and sales. The key challenges included:

  1. Visual Identity: Translating Cherloi’s artisanal roots and luxurious appeal into a modern, digital interface.
  2. Showcasing Personalization: Highlighting the brand’s unique personalization services, such as Trapunto monogramming, while maintaining a clean and intuitive design.
  3. Sustainability Messaging: Seamlessly integrating Cherloi’s eco-conscious philosophy into the website without overshadowing product details.
  4. User Experience: Simplifying the navigation and shopping process for a diverse audience, including first-time buyers and returning customers.

What I Learned

This project taught me how to tell a brand’s story through design, balancing luxury with approachability. I gained experience in integrating personalization features into e-commerce platforms, learning how to highlight product customization in a user-friendly way. Communicating sustainability without overwhelming the user journey was another key challenge, reinforcing the importance of subtle yet impactful messaging. Overall, this project strengthened my ability to create designs that resonate emotionally while achieving business goals.
