Kadama - Web App:

Creating a Trusted Platform for Household Services from Scratch

Finding nannies and maids, featuring subscription plans for access to profiles, management tools for shortlisting candidates, etc.

It aims to streamline the hiring process, providing resources for interviewing and training without agency fees.

Project type:
Freelance
My role:
Product Designer
Tools:
Figma, Miro, Canva(For Logo)
Timeline:
3-4 weeks

For the Kadama project, my primary focus was on designing a clean and user-friendly website and Mobile App that aligns with the brand’s vision and enhances the user experience.
In addition to the web design, I also contributed to shaping the visual identity by:

  • Discovering the logo concept using Canva, which was approved immediately by the client for its simplicity and effectiveness.
  • Selecting the color palette, with yellow as the primary color to reflect positivity, energy, and innovation while helping the brand stand out visually.

This combination of web design and visual identity ensured a cohesive and impactful digital presence for Kadama.

What was the challenge?

The challenge was to create a streamlined, user-friendly web platform (Kadama) to help families hire nannies and maids without the need for traditional agencies. Existing systems often lack ease of use, transparency, or fail to provide flexible management tools for both job seekers and employers.

What problem were I trying to solve?

Who were the primary users and what were their pain points?

1. Families/Employers:

Pain Points:

  • Difficulty in finding reliable and verified candidates.
  • Lack of tools to manage shortlists, reviews, and offers.
  • Expensive agency fees and a lengthy hiring process.

Need:

  • A reliable and affordable system to view profiles, shortlist nannies, and generate contracts.

  • A simple and effective way to showcase their skills, accept offers, and negotiate contracts.
